Complex Development Projects Ltd

Complex Development Projects is a private development company choosing to work in partnership with government, community groups and charities to deliver urban renewal projects. Our commitment to high quality innovative design, good environmental practice and genuine community involvement has succeeded in delivering a number of exciting projects which have helped to bring life back into a number of city and town centres across the UK.

We specialise in working alongside landowners and local authorities, often supporting wider regeneration initiatives and other grant funded programmes and initiatives. Our Projects range from the formulation and implementation of major mixed use, urban renewal initiatives to the restoration of individual buildings within larger projects. It is in these major initiatives where our knowledge across all market sectors and vision for vibrant mixed use urban centres has most impact.

Complex Development Projects was the development partner to Coventry council in delivering the city’s £60m Millennium project, The Phoenix Initiative. The project was shortlisted for The Sterling Prize in 2004 and included 85 flats and two levels of restaurant units, which are still owned by the company. CDP then converted redundant power station buildings to the north of the city centre into 114 office and residential units. This £18m project, known as Electric Wharf, won an award for Outstanding Place of the Decade in West Midlands in 2010. Currently an ambitious long term partnership project to regenerate the historic Far Gosford St area as the city’s creative quarter is nearing completion. The project is next door to Coventry University and the core economic driver is FarGo Village which is retained and actively managed by the company.
